Romantic comedy about the four stages of a breakup: denial, negotiation, revolt and acceptance. Cabral is married to Glorinha and much older than her. Unhappy with the marriage, they decide to give each other a break, but the breakup becomes real when Glorinha falls in love with Diogo, an architect her own age. Cabral, who had the idea of breaking up in the first place, realizes his mistakes. Consumed by jealousy, he will do anything to win back Glorinha's heart. Close friends of the couple get involved in this process: Ricardo, Glorinha's ex-boyfriend, Maribe, Ricardo's girlfriend, Cabral's daughter, Julia, who also lives through a marriage crisis, and Laura, Cabral's old friend and confident. All act by impulse, following the not-always-accurate saying: "Better regret what you've done, than what you've not done." |
